We offer the Level 3 Installation and Maintenance Electrician Apprenticeship, teaching you the skills you need to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial, commercial, and residential environments.
Train to be an Electrician
On this apprenticeship you will learn how to install electrical and electronic equipment and components. You will also be shown how to apply diagnostic and problem-solving techniques to identify, assess and resolve electrical faults.
Through your apprenticeship, you will learn customer and client service methods and techniques, and develop professional and safe working practices.
Provide installation and maintenance support for domestic and commercial properties
As an installation and maintenance electrician apprentice, you will be taught the processes and procedures for designing, planning, setting up and installing electrical and related electronic systems.
You will develop fault diagnostic skills and learn how to safely and professionally, perform improvements and repairs in both domestic and commercial environments.
Alongside developing your technical skills, you will develop your written and verbal communication techniques, your customer and client service methods and your knowledge of project management and the required health and safety.
Throughout your apprenticeship you will also practice recording work, including the completion and maintenance of work documentation, and using relevant digital learning platforms.
