The Employment Services team were delighted to welcome back a familiar face as ex-apprentice, Nairne Barker, joined them in her new role based at Bicester Construction Centre.
Nairne excelled during her time as a Business Administration apprentice at the college, winning the Apprentice of the Year Award and the OXLEP Apprentice of the Year Level 3 Award in 2018, making her the overall winner for Oxfordshire.
She left her apprenticeship mid-Level 4 to work for a company called Stream in Buckinghamshire, who supplied loyalty programmes to companies. For two years she dealt with their marketing socials, emails and newsletters before coming 'home' to take on the role of Business Development Executive in Employment Services, where she will use her skill and first hand experience to source employers keen to take on apprentices.
