Going Green! Promoting apprenticeships and upskilling in the STEM sector

3rd Dec 2021

Simplifying the skills system for local SME's and enabling them and the local community to access all the funding and training opportunities on offer is important to us.

We're delighted to be able to announce a new project that will run for two years from October 2021 to September 2023 and is part funded by the European Social Fund.

The project will be delivered through our college campuses in Abingdon, Witney and Bicester, giving access to all residents and SME's across Oxfordshire.

The focus is on green construction and STEM related learning for both business and the residents of Oxfordshire.

"As a college we like to ensure we can adapt and evolve in line with both local and economic demands. This project and the additional funding means we can do just that and is brilliantly timed to coincide with the opening of our new Green Construction Centre at our Abingdon campus this June. Not only can our team offer advice and guidance on the best training options, the facilities we can deliver the learning in across the county are really impressive."

Ed Collett - Project Manager | Head of Business Development
