Our brilliant Performing Arts students recently stepped into the spotlight at Oxford’s Old Fire Station, in their powerful and uplifting performance of Anybody Have a Map? The show provided students with the opportunity to showcase their talent, passion, and individuality on a professional stage, while working collaboratively in a real-world performance environment.

Bursting with energy and emotion, Anybody Have a Map? explored the twists and turns of life’s journeys, from moments of joy and ambition to uncertainty and self-discovery. Through a vibrant mix of musical theatre favourites and pop anthems, students sang, danced and performed their way through the universal question: are we following a plan, or finding our own way as we go?

The production featured standout ensemble moments alongside powerful solo and small-group performances, with songs from Dear Evan Hansen, Wicked, A Chorus Line, Anastasia, Kinky Boots, and more. Every student played a vital role in bringing the show to life, demonstrating not only performance skills but teamwork, professionalism, and connection with the audience.

Performing at a professional venue like the Old Fire Station is a key part of our Performing Arts courses, giving students invaluable real-world experience in front of live, paying audiences. The show highlighted the breadth of skills developed on the course and the confidence students gain through larger-scale productions.

Anybody Have a Map? was a true celebration of student talent, showcasing weeks of hard work and creativity - and a proud moment for everyone involved.
