On Friday 10th March, 蜜桃传媒鈥檚 Gateway Team attended the Witney Town Council Citizen Awards, proudly taking home two awards after receiving nominations from their students.
The Citizen Awards celebrate the unsung heroes of Witney and those who are recognised in the community to have done amazing things for people of the town. Each year, judges are on the look for those who have given selfless service to a voluntary body or the community, or those whose service is acknowledged to have made a real difference to the everyday lives of others.
This year, the Witney Gateway team were pleased to have been nominated by their students for two awards and the College was delighted to celebrate their subsequent wins.
The Gateway team and Witney provision was awarded the Council鈥檚 Educational Organisation of the Year 2022; and Lisa Rideout, Curriculum Manager for Gateway was awarded the Mayor鈥檚 Certificate of Recognition of Outstanding Service to Education.
