蜜桃传媒 are delighted to announce that Nairne Barker, Business Development Executive at our Bicester Skills Construction Centre, has won 鈥榊oung Business Person of the Year鈥, sponsored by K盲rcher, at the Cherwell Business Awards 2023.
At their annual gala dinner at the Chesterton Hotel, The Cherwell Business Awards 2023 celebrated business excellence across the Cherwell region. Nairne was awarded for her outstanding work supporting the employers across the region to take on apprentices in carpentry, plumbing and property maintenance. Simon Keeping, Managing Director of Karcher UK & Ireland, presented the award and said:
鈥淣airne is a highly capable, motivated individual. When I met her, I was impressed with how ably she conveyed her contribution and passion for her role as Business Development Executive.鈥
鈥淣airne鈥檚 biggest challenges are changing people's perceptions regarding apprenticeships and changing the perception of women in the construction industry鈥.
Having been shortlisted in the top three young businesspeople in the Cherwell district, Nairne beat off serious competition to take the award home.
An organiser at the Cherwell Business Awards added:
