We’re incredibly proud to celebrate Creative Industries student Cayla Au, whose stunning logo has been selected as the new face of Witney in Pink, a much-loved annual event that raises funds for Against Breast Cancer.
To mark the 25th anniversary of the campaign, Cayla and her classmates on the Foundation Art & Design Level 3 course were invited to take part in a live brief: to reimagine the branding for this iconic local event. The project, set up as part of the students’ work experience, challenged them to create a logo that honours Witney in Pink’s legacy while offering a fresh, meaningful design.
Cayla’s winning concept does just that. Her design transforms the recognisable pink ribbon into a flowing “W”, symbolising Witney, women’s health, and the strong sense of community that has powered the event since it began in 2000. The logo was officially unveiled at Witney Carnival on Saturday 12th July and will now be used throughout the 2025 campaign.

Foundation Art & Design Level 3, Cayla Au:
“Initially I didn’t have much experience designing logos for causes like this,” said Cayla. “But through the process, I learned how to create something visually strong that also communicates an important message. I’m really proud that my work will help raise awareness for such a meaningful cause.”
The Witney in Pink team were equally impressed by Cayla’s thoughtful approach and powerful design. Founder Jeanne Chattoe BEM said:
“Every student who took part brought something unique, but Cayla’s logo stood out for its elegance, symbolism, and originality. It perfectly captures the spirit of Witney in Pink and where we’re headed in the next 25 years.”
Over the last two and a half decades, Witney in Pink has raised over £300,000 in support of Against Breast Cancer. From humble beginnings - a cake stall and a handful of balloons - the event has grown into a town-wide celebration, bringing together residents, businesses, and volunteers to support life-saving research.

As the Witney in Pink team look ahead to their 25th Anniversary on 27th September, Cayla’s logo will be front and centre, celebrating not only the strength of the cause but the creativity of the next generation.
Congratulations to Cayla whose talent and passion will make a lasting mark on our community.
