Join this practical indoor workshop to learn how to clean and sharpen your garden tools for better performance and longevity. Bring your own tools, and we鈥檒l provide the sharpening and cleaning materials.

Please note that this is not an RHS qualification course, nor is it affiliated with any of the horticulture programmes delivered at our Common Leys campus. The course is specifically designed for gardening enthusiasts seeking to develop their knowledge and practical skills for personal interest, rather than as a formal professional qualification.

Entry criteria
No previous knowledge or experience necessary. All welcome.

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.

Fee information
A nominal materials fee of 拢2 will cover the cost of essential supplies, including sharpening stones, sandpaper, WD-40, cloths, and other necessary materials. All tools and equipment for the session will be provided.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
