This is the first part of the follow-on course from your improvers course where you will continue to work on and improve your conversational skills as well as your understanding of dialogues and texts. The main aim of the course is to enable you to make yourself understood in a range of increasingly unpredictable everyday situations.
During this course you will work to improve your listening skills, develop a deeper understanding of grammatical structures, expand your vocabulary and increase your confidence in using the language in situations such as:鈥 make appointments with a doctor/dentist and use appropriate vocabulary explain symptoms of minor health problems (eg. a cold, an allergy etc) 鈥 talk about someone鈥檚 life by using the past tense connecting words and conjunctions.鈥 talk about family relations and possessives (by using the genitive case)

Please note there are no classes during half term.

What next?
Greek - Intermediate Level B
Entry criteria
This course is designed for students who studied Greek for about two academic years. They can use the present tense confidently and they have got some knowledge of the simple past and simple future tense. The standard approximates to Level A2 in terms of the Common European Framework.

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.

Fee information
A text book is used to accompany the course but it is optional to buy this (average cost 拢20 - 拢25). The text book will support your learning for at least 1 year. You may also like to buy a small dictionary. Your tutor will be able to advise you at the first session.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
