Introduction to Sustainable Floristry-The principles of eco-conscious floral design-Working with spring flowers
Foraging & Sustainable Sourcing-Discovering and selecting seasonal elements from gardens, woodlands, and local growers-Tips on responsibly gathering storm-fallen branches, dried seed heads, berries, and foliage
Hand-Tied Seasonal Bouquets-Creating a loose, natural bouquet using a mix of fresh flowers, foliage, and foraged materials-Techniques for spiralling stems and achieving a balanced, organic design
Foam-Free Vase Arrangement-Designing a stunning, sustainable centrepiece using spring flowers and foliage-Learning structural techniques for creating shape and movement without floral foam
By the end of this workshop, you will walk away with your beautiful spring floral creations, newfound floristry skills, and an appreciation for working in harmony with nature.
All materials will be provided, but please bring:A pen & notebookA pair of floristry scissors String or twine A camera to capture your work An apron (things can get messy!)We recommend wearing closed, comfortable shoes.
Free parking. No refreshments available at venue, please bring with you. The school have a Nut-Free Policy - no foods containing nuts.
Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.
As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
