Oxford Construction Skills CentreDelivered through workplace-based assessment, this qualification enables learners to demonstrate their competence against the industry standards required by the Electrotechnical Assessment Specification (EAS). The qualification forms part of the Experienced Worker Assessment route and supports progression towards obtaining an ECS Gold Card.
Learners will build a portfolio of evidence, complete practical assessments and undertake knowledge-based assessments to demonstrate occupational competence.

The qualification helps experienced workers gain formal recognition of existing skills and competence within the industry.

Level 4 and higher-level electrical engineering or building services qualifications.
Supervisory and management roles within the electrical industry.
Be aged 19 or over.
Have substantial experience working within the electrotechnical industry.
Be currently employed or regularly engaged in electrical installation work.
Be able to provide workplace evidence demonstrating competence across a range of installation activities.
Hold relevant prior electrical qualifications and/or be able to demonstrate underpinning knowledge and industry experience.
Applicants may be required to attend an interview and initial assessment to confirm suitability for the qualification.

City & Guilds Level 3 Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification (2346-03)
This qualification is recognised by the electrotechnical industry and forms a key part of the Experienced Worker Assessment route. Together with successful completion of the AM2E assessment, it can support eligibility for an ECS Gold Card and recognition as a qualified electrician.
