Assist in risk assessments and adhere to Safe Systems of Work.Prepare Documentation: Gather and summarize information for product and process documentation.Manage Quality Notifications: Handle internal and supplier quality notifications, coordinating resolutions with stakeholders.Implement Programme Initiatives: Collaborate with customers on lean analysis methods and process improvements.Execute Product Changes: Support new product introductions and modifications, ensuring quality and supplier approvals.Conduct Financial Analysis: Estimate manufacturing costs, obtain quotes, and analyze cost impacts.Drive Technology Initiatives: Justify capital investments for equipment upgrades and system enhancements.Monitor KPIs: Maintain reports on key performance indicators for data management activities.Optimize Processes: Improve efficiency using time and motion analysis, line balancing, and workflow optimization.Liaise with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet project timelines.Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with aerospace and broader regulatory requirements.Resolve Engineering Issues: Contribute to root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.Produce Manufacturing Documentation: Develop manuals and procedures for consistent manufacturing processes.Optimize Manufacturing Methods: Review and optimize engineering methods to meet specifications.

Applicants are required to have A*- B / 9 - 5 in Maths and A*- C / 9 - 4 English, or equivalent, plus one of the following: an A Level pass in either Maths or Physics (or closely related subject), a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (ideally with a merit in the Further Maths), any other qualification deemed equivalent.

Free to apprentices. This apprenticeship has a £21,000 funding band. Depending on age some small companies will need to contribute £1050 toward the funding; large companies could pay through the apprenticeship levy if they have funds available.
