The course is made up of six units.
Introduction to Cyber Security (L/618/1181)
Understand Terminology Used in Cyber Security (R/618/1182)
Understand Legal and Ethical Aspects of Cyber Security (Y/618/1183)
Understand Common Threats to Cyber Security (D/618/1184)
Understand Methods of Maintaining Cyber Security (H/618/1185)
Working With Others in Cyber Security (K/618/1186)

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to:
•Level 3 Certificate in Cyber Security Practices
•Level 3 Diploma in IT User Skills
•Level 3 Award in Cyber Security Leadership
•Level 3 Foundation Technical Level IT: Cyber Security.

Learners must be aged 19 or above and have not previously completed a similar qualification to qualify for funding. Some courses may have additional specific prerequisites. Please see fee information for funding requirements, or discuss upon enquiry.

These courses are government funded. To be able to study for free you must meet the following criteria:- You must currently live in England- You must have been a resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years for purposes other than study- You must be over the age of 19- You must not be an apprentice- You must not be currently studying another funded course.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
