Travel around the fascinating world of bread making and explore their secrets.
Your tutor has been successfully baking and selling Focaccia and Ciabatta for over 17 years.

鈥 Explore the secrets of soft but fully flavoured Focaccia, Pizza and Ciabatta.鈥 Have fun shaping French Fougasse, baguette, brioche, doughnuts and Georgian Kachapuri bread. 鈥 Make Pitta, Naan and the most delicious Pane Pugliese using the dutch oven technique and alternative flours.

For our first session you will be making 鈥楢 British Loaf of Bread (Sandwich Tin)鈥. You will need to bring the following ingredients and equipment:

Ingredients: 鈥 250g strong white bread flour鈥 50g whole meal flour鈥 3g fresh yeast (or 2g dried yeast)鈥 195g water鈥 6g saltOptional: pumpkin and sunflower seeds

Equipment:鈥 A large mixing bowl 鈥 1 fork鈥 1 measuring jug鈥 1 scale鈥 Clingfilm鈥 Tea towel鈥 1 x 500ml sandwich baking tin (will need to fit 500g water)

Free parking. No refreshments available at venue, please bring with you. The school have a Nut-Free Policy - no foods containing nuts.

Please note - you should be 19 years old or over at 31st August 2026 prior to starting the course.

Fee information
The cost of ingredients you need to bring should total no more than 拢10 - 拢15 per session. This course includes a material fee that provides essential resources and hands-on demonstrations, empowering you to achieve your learning goals and master new skills with confidence.

As part of your course we may organise trips to assist you with your learning. Trips are optional, and you will not be penalised if you choose not to participate.
